The PMP exam application form needs lots of details and certain calculations. It can take a long duration to complete therefore, be prepared.

When your PMP application has been accepted, PMI will give you one year to complete the exam, and you will have three chances to pass.

If you're chosen to be audited the one year of eligibility begins on the day you complete it.

Within the message, PMI is asking you to provide them with a couple of documents. If you're a holder of a diploma, you can submit one project, if the period was for five years as long as you worked on it from the beginning until the conclusion.

In any case, if you aren't working on a single project that's long enough then add additional projects until you've reached the minimum time.

If you've had any overlap experience, you should provide the hours needed for one project.

You will need to give references from supervisors. The PMI could utilize this information to reach them if you are selected to be audited. Therefore, I suggest you notify your supervisors before the time of the details of your PMP application.

The worksheet comes with five sections in the form of project management experience. The sections highlight various positions, projects, and hours.

The five segments are:

  • The project's inception
  • Designing the project
  • The project is being executed
  • The project's control
  • The project is now closed.

After you have provided your experience in project management, you will receive a score of the mandatory hours of knowledge.

Following that, you must present an overview of the project in the 550-word range. The summary should include:

  • The project's title or type
  • Brief description
  • Objectives
  • Key deliverables
  • Your role
  • The final product of the project

Check your report to ensure you were involved throughout the five stages of your project.

Project Management Education

In this section, you will give the details of any formal education in project management that you've attended.

There are two sections in this:

  • Hours It is the sum of time you've been enrolled in courses on project management in terms of hours.
  • Qualification Hours It refers to the 35-hour amount of formal education in project management.

Review and Submit the Application

Before you apply, be sure to review it carefully. Print your application to keep for your records.

Before you go through the form in detail, you can add any other information that you would like to include and then fill in the form.

Recheck the application before you accept the PMI conditions and terms.

You can view the completed application before deciding to accept and then proceed. After you have received your last approval you can send the application. You will receive an email confirmation after applying.

After you receive the confirmation email, you will be able to pay the cost and then schedule the test.
